Truly Blessed

"In 2022, I was a 24-year-old very independent woman, in a wonderful relationship with an amazing partner. That summer due to unfortunate circumstances I lost my partner, I was and still am, completely devastated by this loss. Three weeks after the loss I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant. Still so deep in the grief I felt hopeless and unsure of how I was going to take care of a child alone, especially not having a great support system or others to rely on. This was when I was referred to Crossroads and met this wonderful woman, the Primary Steps Director, that gave me the support when I needed it the most. She and the rest of the gals at Crossroads have helped me in ways I never imagined. They have helped so much with Prenatal and Postpartum. They have given my son so much, in a time that I could not provide him with everything he needs. I am forecer thankful and so very grateful to have found this support.
